The still-untitled Avengers 4 may just be Anthony and Joe Russo’s best work yet, even if they do say so themselves. The highly-anticipated movie hits theaters in May 2019. Once again written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and directed by the Russo brothers, it will serve as the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War and the final installment in the MCU’s first saga. Outside of potential spoilers revealed by Tom Holland, Marvel has kept predictably tight-lipped about what fans can definitively expect....

Both DC and Marvel have potential game-changing movies slated for release just weeks from each other in 2016. A Chinese consumer has been given the go-ahead to take an “Apple tax” antitrust case to court, as China’s Supreme Court rejected Apple’s call for the lawsuit to be thrown out. A local report says that this is a small legal loss, but could have big implications for the Cupertino company … South China Morning Post (SCMP) reports. This is because Android apps are available from third-party app stores, which typically charge no commission on non-gaming apps, while making up for it with a 50% commission on games....

With the MCU preparing for its twentieth film, fans can get their first look at Michael Douglas’ return as Dr. Hank Pym for Ant-Man and the Wasp. Peyton Reed’s first film wasn’t the character origin story many had expected, and instead of focussing on Pym’s early days under the Ant-Man mantle, Douglas had a supporting role to Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang. However, with Douglas returning alongside Rudd for the sequel, Pym will have a little more to do this time around....

As part of his trek through Europe, Apple CEO Tim Cook has paid a visit to the Vatican to meet with Pope Francis. Details about what exactly the two discussed during the visit are unclear, but there was a “private audience” in attendance, according to the Vatican. As pointed out by Reuters, the visit comes as Pope Francis has been increasingly outspoken against smartphones and some of the addictive habits that come with them....

After just releasing iOS 15.5 this week, Apple is seeding iOS 15.6 beta 1 to developers. This update is likely the last major iOS 15 version before Apple announces and rolls out iOS 16 in the near future. Apple on Monday announced a limited edition of its Beats Studio Buds wireless earphones to celebrate the Lunar New Year, which is part of the Lunar calendar adopted by Asian countries like China. The special-edition Studio Buds feature a red and gold design. Beats Studio Buds are already available in red, but the special Lunar New Year edition comes with gold stripes representing tiger print accents, as 2022 will be the “Year of the Tiger....

A year and a half ago, Apple’s App Store privacy labels went live. At that time, Apple wanted to provide a more detailed and easy-to-read view of app privacy practices. Now, mysteriously, these labels are all gone from apps on the App Store and the Mac App Store. These privacy “nutrition labels” were first introduced at WWDC 2020, with Apple saying the goal was to better inform consumers of the privacy practices of individual applications....

Willem Dafoe’s Vulko rides an armored shark in the latest images from director James Wan’s Aquaman movie. Dafoe was originally set to make his screen debut as Nuidis Vulko (Atlantis’ chief scientific advisor and a mentor/ally to Arthur Curry) in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, prior to his appearance in Wan’s DC Comics adaptation. However, the footage he shot for the film ended up on the cutting room floor, following the extensive re-editing and reshoots that Joss Whedon oversaw in the wake of Snyder’s departure from the project....

New set photos reveal Stephen Amell in full costume as The Flash for the 2018 Arrowverse “Elseworlds” crossover. Amell, who plays the Green Arrow, and Grant Gustin, who plays The Flash, turned heads when the two swapped costumes in a new poster for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover event. Apple has defied Russian threats and restored to the App Store the Smart Voting app it removed in September. The app was created by jailed opposition leader and anti-corruption campaigner Alexei Navalny, in order to help strategic voting against Putin. Recently, Apple reached out to the YouTuber in hopes of giving a “Dream Studio Makeover” for a young creative who doesn’t have access to the right gear; the company’s goal is to help a promising professional get access to some of the latest gear....
