New concept art reveals Hawkeye’s supposed look before becoming Ronin in Avengers: Endgame. After sitting out the events of Avengers: Infinity War, Jeremy Renner’s MCU character returns to the franchise with a brand new persona as the ruthless samurai. Fueled by his anger with the death of his family via Thanos’s (Josh Brolin) snap, the founding hero goes on a killing spree as his way to cope with grief. It wasn’t until five years after that his fellow Avengers reached out to him, with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) leading the charge....

Marvel filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo have returned to social media, and seemingly joined a popular Thanos subreddit. Having directed four films for the MCU - including next year’s Avengers 4 - the two are well aware of how invested the fan community is with the franchise, especially the Phase 3 Avengers sequels, given that they’re the culmination of the overall narrative that the film series has been telling since 2008’s Iron Man....

Eight new posters have been released for Drew Goddard’s Bad Times at the El Royale. The 1960s-set noir mystery features an all-star ensemble that includes Chris Hemsworth, Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson, Jeff Bridges, Nick Offerman, and Russell Crowe. Bad Times’ main cast also includes Lewis Pullman (The Strangers: Prey at Night) and Cailee Spaeny (Pacific Rim Uprising), as well as Cynthia Erivo - who, between Bad Times and her role in Steve McQueen’s dramatic crime thriller Widows, could end up becoming one of this fall’s breakout stars....

DICE is reportedly looking to take the Battlefield franchise back to its roots by setting their next installment during World War II. The EA-owned video game developer attempted a quasi-reboot of their acclaimed shooter series with Battlefield 1 in 2016; it was the first triple-A shooter of its kind to take place during WWI and timed perfectly during an era of fatigue from future-set shooters coming from the company’s chief competitor: the Call of Duty series....

Liz Taylor and Iris feature prominently in the fifth season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s hit anthology horror show, American Horror Story: Hotel. Iris and Liz bond over their near-invisible status amongst society, and slowly rise to the top of the ranks in the Hotel Cortez as they overthrow Lady Gaga’s vampiric Countess. Liz is one of the show’s most iconic characters and Hotel is arguably her season. Her friendship with Iris was one of the most touching and heartfelt arcs in the series....

Though Ant-Man and the Wasp may seem relatively straight-forward compared to other Marvel movies, there’s actually a number of mysteries surrounding the plot—including who exactly Ghost is. Last year’s San Diego Comic-Con offered a lot of information about upcoming MCU films, especially when it came to the cast of Ant-Man 2. It’s there we learned Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne would be joining the production, but we also found out Hannah John-Kamen would be playing Ghost....

It’s been a couple of years since Apple launched the Express Transit feature for users to pay for public transportation just by taking the iPhone closer to an NFC terminal, without the need for an ID verification. The function, which has been available for London users for quite some time, is now being promoted inside the Wallet app, even if the user already has the Express Transit feature set. This was spotted by some Twitter users, including designer Luiz Ottino and developer Nikolak Hansen-Turton, when they opened the Wallet app....

Just one day after seeding the fourth macOS Monterey beta to developers, the latest build is now available for public beta testers. Apple at first said Universal Control was enabled in the release notes but then removed it. However, Apple has turned on Live Text support for Intel Macs in the new Monterey beta. The new macOS Monterey beta 4 (technically public beta 3) is showing up now via OTA for those already enrolled....

With the new watch band collection introduced today, Apple has retired the leather loop which was originally introduced in 2015 with the first generation Apple Watch. Update: Ubisoft announced today that For Honor players will enter the world of Assassin’s Creed with their first crossover event – For The Creed, running from today, December 20 to January 10 on all platforms. This three-week in-game event will fully transform the For Honor experience using the power of the Animus as players relive the lives of fearsome Knight, Viking, Samurai or Wu Lin Heroes. Abstergo has created a new gaming experience, called For The Creed, that utilizes the Animus to transport players to an age where the Knights, Vikings, Samurai and Wu Lin wage war on each other....

Avengers: Infinity War pulls off a tremendously difficult balancing act. Not only does the film include the dozens of characters Marvel fans have come to love, but it has to manage tons of subplots alongside several shifts in tone. The movie has to overwork itself to please every fan and do every character justice in only two and a half hours. It can feel cluttered at times, but it has proven to be a massive success....

As expected, Avengers: Infinity War has been officially rated PG-13 by the MPAA. The rating comes as no surprise, considering that all films in the MCU have begin given the same rating. Only a select few superhero blockbusters, such as Logan and Deadpool, have been rated R. The biggest superhero team-up movie of all-time is almost here, which is made apparent by all the promos that have been making the rounds on TV and the internet....

Avengers: Infinity War will not be a direct adaptation of the Marvel comic book run of the same name, directing duo Anthony and Joe Russo have confirmed. In what is being billed as one of the most ambitious crossover events in cinematic history, Avengers: Infinity War promises to bring a decade’s worth of Marvel movies to a climax, as the evil Thanos finally makes his way to Earth. This movie event will bring a staggering amount of superheroes together including Avengers favorites such as Captain America, Thor and Iron Man, as well as newcomers like Black Panther, Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy....

Baby Yoda toys inspired by the beloved character from The Mandalorian could arrive late thanks to delays brought on by the coronavirus outbreak. The character known only as The Child made his first surprise appearance at the end of the premiere episode of the Disney+ Star Wars show Mandalorian, and the world quickly fell in love with the little green creature affectionately named after the wise Jedi Yoda. Though demand for Baby Yoda toys immediately reached an understandable fever pitch, Disney found itself in the unusual position of not having any merchandise ready to go at launch, thanks to the need for secrecy around the character himself....

In a recently released Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 sneak peek, fans are already falling deeper in love with contestant John Paul Jones. The blonde heartthrob was a previous contestant on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette this year, and in that short amount of time has already become a Bachelor Nation favorite. Fans first met Jones when he was courting Brown for the final rose this summer and quickly fell in love with him, and it looks as though fans are falling even more in love just based off of the sneak peek of Bachelor in Paradise....

The Bad Boys TV spinoff has found a partner for Gabrielle Union, as Jessica Alba is confirmed as the co-lead for the upcoming NBC show. It’s been nearly two decades since Alba played the breakout role of Max Guevara in Fox’s Dark Angel, but now she is set to return to the small screen as an LAPD detective who will work alongside Union’s character in the pilot for the intended series....

Before he was overseeing the (hoped for) launch of the full-blown DC Extended Universe with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, action-specialist filmmaker Zack Snyder earned accolades (and also his share of criticism) for his impressively-faithful adaptation of Watchmen, a landmark Alan Moore comic published by DC but set in a separate, alternate continuity. At least one of Watchmen’s actors, Jeffery Dean Morgan, is already set to appear in Snyder’s new film as the late Thomas Wayne, and now it appears that another veteran of the ultra-violent superhero epic may returning too....
