Apple is extending its offer to convert eligible purchases from one-time payments into Apple Card Monthly Installments. The company says that customers now have until December 15, 2021, to request to have eligible purchases converted to an Apple Card Monthly Installment. As we first reported last month, Apple has been reaching out to Apple Card users who might have expected to receive 0% APR financing automatically when purchasing Apple products with their Apple Card....

Following Apple’s special event on Tuesday, the company announced that it will finally release iOS 15.4, watchOS 8.5, tvOS 15.4, and macOS Monterey 12.3 to all users next week. iOS 15.4 has been available for developers as a beta release since earlier this year, and it brings multiple new features. For instance, the update enables Face ID while wearing a mask, as well as new Emojis, improvements to iCloud Keychain, and a new voice for American Siri....

However, the decision hasn’t yet been publicly confirmed by Apple. With a degree in computer science, Hovarth began her career as a programmer for a government contractor long before joining Apple in 2011. Zack Snyder’s time leading the DCEU may be over, but the Aquaman movie looks to have at least one homage to his and Henry Cavill’s Superman, and the trail first blazed by Man of Steel’s reboot. The secrecy surrounding the gold-and-green suit has led fans to believe that Arthur Curry’s decision to don the armor will be just as important as the first time Superman put on his own uniform, if not more....

A report today says that the loss of ability to target Facebook and Instagram users by their interests is seeing businesses abandon the platform in favor of Google ads … The WSJ opens with one of many examples. Apple today shared its highly-anticipated annual holiday ad for 2021. This year, the video was shot entirely using an iPhone 13 Pro. Entitled “Saving Simon,” the video comes in at 3-minutes long. Check it out below. Apple says that the video was directed by the father-son duo, Oscar nominees Jason Reitman and Ivan Reitman. The holiday ad this year is set to the song “You and I” by the singer/songwriter Valerie June, which can be found on Apple Music right here....

Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers has finally issued a permanent injunction regarding the Apple vs. Epic Games case, which began in August 2020 after Fortnite was removed from the App Store. However, although Apple has been required to allow alternative payment methods in the App Store, the company will not be forced to let Epic Games bring back Fortnite or other apps to its platforms. According to Judge Rogers, the termination of Epic’s App Store account is considered valid, as the game company in fact would have violated Apple’s terms and policies....

Apple this week quietly started selling iPhone 12 mini for the first time in its US Refurbished Store. This means that customers can now buy an iPhone 12 mini that looks as good as a new one at a $100 discount compared to the retail price. Some iPhone 12 models were already available in the Apple Refurbished Store, such as the iPhone 12 Pro, but this is the first time that refurbished models of the iPhone 12 mini lineup are available there....

Apple has already scheduled an Apple Watch Activity Challenge for Earth Day later this week, but there’s another one coming at the end of this month. For International Dance Day on April 29, Apple will hold an Activity Challenge that requires to do a Dance workout of 20 minutes or more. While audiences will meet him next year in Justice League, 2018’s Aquaman from director James Wan (Insidious, Furious 7) will give the character played by Jason Momoa his proper solo entry. The “swashbuckling action-adventure” will see Momoa’s King of Atlantis expand the DC Extended Universe ever further alongside co-stars Amber Heard (as Mera) and Willem Dafoe (as Nuidis Vulko). The film’s main villain Black Manta has yet to be cast....

Legendary action star Arnold Schwarzenegger has been cast in the Michael Fassbender-fronted feature expansion of popular short film Kung Fury. Written by, directed by, and starring Swedish filmmaker David Sandberg - for reference, not the same David Sandberg that’s set to direct Shazam for DC - the original Kung Fury short was released in 2015, and quickly became an online sensation. Set in 1980s Miami, Kung Fury did not hesitate to get crazy, incorporating time travel, dinosaurs, and Hitler, among other things....
