Alongside the new MacBook Pros, Apple has added a new first party polishing cloth to the Apple Store. The new polishing cloth is a soft white with an embossed Apple logo. Apple does not specify what material it is made out of. It’s priced at $19.00 and Apple says it’s compatible with every single device they make.

Earlier this week, Apple revealed the latest additions to its annual collection of in-house Pride Watch bands. The CW has released synopses for upcoming episodes of Arrow and The Flash along with the season finale of Legends Tomorrow. The episode descriptions tease what director Kevin Smith has in store for Team Flash and a trip to the Old West in Legends. We also learn that Arrow is about to take Oliver to his “darkest place yet.” The Flash took a break following its March 13 episode, “Run, Iris, Run”, and will return on April 10 with “Null and Annoyed,” directed by Kevin Smith, which will be his third episode on The Flash....

Unsurprisingly, Avengers: Endgame is the most anticipated blockbuster of 2019 according to a new poll conducted by Fandango. Audiences have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the film since the shocking ending of Infinity War, which saw Thanos accomplish his mission and wipe out half of the universe’s population. Endgame, which only recently received its first trailer, is billed as the culminating chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date - capping off an unprecedented 22-movie arc that’s been ongoing since 20008’s Iron Man....

Marvel published The Art of Avengers: Infinity War, a book filled with concept art for Avengers: Infinity War, which reveals new details about the blockbuster movie. In the foreword, Marvel Studios head of visual development Ryan Meinerding recalled one of the first meetings he had with president Kevin Feige about the film. Even at this early stage, Feige insisted that he wanted the concept art for the movie to push the limits of anything Marvel Studios had done before....

Early projections for Avengers: Infinity War predict Marvel Studios’ biggest opening weekend. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is riding high off Black Panther’s box office dominance. The solo movie continued to break records on a weekly basis, and now that it is out in theaters, it means Infinity War is next up. Anticipation has already run extremely high (even with just one trailer), and Marvel further fueled excitement by moving the Avengers: Infinity War release date up....

Avengers: Infinity War sets up no less than five future Marvel movies. That will come as no surprise to any Marvel fan; Marvel boss Kevin Feige has always loved to play the long game. Marvel reportedly has no less than 20 films in the works for after Avengers 4; that gives a sense of Marvel’s ambition, as the studio prepares for the next decade’s worth of superhero action. Sometimes the setup takes time to materialize; Marvel famously teased the location of Wakanda back in 2010’s Iron Man 2, for example....

When it comes down to it, promotional partnerships are a big part of blockbuster moviemaking. From retail toys to themed soda cans, opportunities to make money from superhero film franchises rarely end on the big screen. Some films lean into product placement more than others - as some promotional partners are easier to include in a movie or TV show than others. As a result, it came as somewhat of a surprise when, a few weeks back, a new sponsored trailer from Turkish Airlines revealed a new glimpse of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman in flight… on an airplane....

The film adaptaion of Alita: Battle Angel finally began taking shape in late 2015 when Robert Rodriguez signed on to direct with James Cameron producing. The source material is a Japanese Manga that tells the story of doctor who reanimates a deactivated cyborg he found in a junk yard. Set well in the future (around 2533 AD), Battle Angel follows Alita as she regains memories of her former life, in which she was a highly skilled fighter....

A new, star-studded trailer has been released for NBA 2k19, featuring Anthony Mackie (Avengers: Infinity War) and Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense). The basketball-centric video game is the latest installment of the popular, long-running franchise developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. The latter is a division of 2K Games, which in turn is a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive, which is also responsible for games of such varying genres as WWE 2K franchise, Red Dead Redemption, and even the increasingly unhackable Grand Theft Auto V....

While there’s a lot of controversy regarding the App Store (whether Apple should let users have the option to pay for apps off it), governments and third-party developers continue to raise questions regarding if the store is a monopoly or not, the company could soon face another controversy as it is piloting tests that allow developers to automatically charge users for subscription price increases. As first reported by TechCrunch, developer Max Seelemann posted on his Twitter that his Disney+ subscription price increased as “mere notice instead of having to confirm” it....

Apple was the second most successful smartphone vendor globally in Q1 2022, according to new data. The Cupertino company falls behind Samsung, as the South Korean tech giant has 23.4% of the global market. As shown by BanklessTimes, Samsung and Apple are battling for the top manufacturer slot in the smartphone sector. Samsung sold 73 million phones in Q1 2022, while Apple was second with 56 million iPhones sold – 23....

Aquaman scores the best opening for a DC film at the Chinese box office since 2016’s Batman v Superman. Though many of installments in the DC Extended Universe (as it’s unofficially known as) received mixed reviews from critics and fans, most performed well at the box office. Unfortunately, that trend did not continue for last fall’s Justice League, which ended its run as the lowest-grossing installment in the franchise. As a result, WB’s future plans were thrown into a state of flux, though there’s reason for hope on the horizon....

Arrow season 7 episode 5, “The Demon”, did surprisingly little to advance the major on-going storylines of the season so far. Felicity is no closer to catching Ricardo Diaz than she was last week and there was no new information on the identity of the new Green Arrow. There were also no flash-forwards to the future of Star City 2038. Despite this, it would be unfair to say that our heroes got nothing accomplished this week....

Many of the heroes who were turned to dust in Avengers: Infinity War are expected to be resurrected one way or another in Avengers 4. However, there is one hero that Marvel Studios should keep dead: Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch. Brilliantly played by Elizabeth Olsen, the character was officially introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron alongside her (short-lived) twin, Pietro Maximoff a.k.a. Quicksilver, and both of them had powers that originated from HYDRA’s experiments with the Mind Stone....

Fans of the live-action musical motion picture event that is Beauty and the Beast will be pleased to know that the first trailer for the Blu-ray release has just been posted online - an announcement that comes with plenty of special features in tow. Based on the classic animated Disney musical of the same name from 1991, the Bill Condon-directed remake starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens proved to be the highest-grossing PG film of all time after earning well over $1 billion at the box office worldwide in ticket sales alone....

Ant-Man was perhaps the biggest “wild card” released in Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; between the title character’s relative obscurity - compared to the other superheroes that had debuted as part of the MCU at that point - and original writer/director Edgar Wright stepping down shortly before production was to begin, after spending years of developing the movie. Director Peyton Reed then stepped in and successfully steered the ship to port (with help from others, of course), in the process delivering another generally well-received (and lucrative) big screen MCU adventure....
