Captain America: Civil War held its official premiere at CinemaCon, and the reviews are so positive that Marvel lifted the press embargo a month early. As with each new Marvel Cinematic Universe feature, the new sequel reportedly does double-duty advancing its own storyline and giving a hat-tip to other characters and story threads in the ongoing Marvel continuity. Apple Music is trolling Spotify by promoting Neil Young albums and playlists after the Canadian-American singer pulled all his music from Spotify over COVID-19 disinformation … Young was unhappy that Spotify allowed Joe Rogan to use his Spotify-hosted podcast to promote COVID-19 hoaxes, as Rolling Stone reported. The singer’s record label backed his stance, and Spotify complied by removing all of Young’s music from the platform. Neil Young posted a since-deleted letter to his management team and record label demanding that they remove his music from Spotify....

Apple is running an Apple Card promo this month encouraging users to take advantage of Apple Card Family for sharing with friends and family members. Apple says that if you add a new Apple Card user to your account, they’ll receive $10 Daily Cash when they make their first purchase. Aquaman’s reviews have been mixed since its release, with some critics citing it being too cheesy as a negative point - but perhaps they’re just missing the movie’s point. Aquaman has gotten flak for being bloated, poorly paced, and too long - some of which are fair, to an extent - but being cheesy, campy, and cliched are fundamental choices that are made long before production begins. Apple is developing a new feature that would allow iPhone users to accept credit card payments via contactless technology without any extra hardware, according to a new report from Bloomberg. The report explains that Apple’s system is likely to use NFC technology similar to Apple Pay. As it stands today, small businesses that wish to accept payments using an iPhone are required to use external, third-party hardware. Oftentimes, this hardware comes from the financial services company Square, which sells multiple different payment terminals for iPhone and iPad devices....
