Apple is trying a new strategy to promote its latest original movie premiering on Apple TV+ today. For a limited time, subscribers can stream a Jennifer Lawrence film from 2012 as an “Apple TV+ bonus” starting today, alongside the complete collection of The Hunger Games films. The actor reprises his DCEU role as half human/half Atlantean Arthur Curry, this time in the James Wan-directed flick that will serve as the character’s origin story in the franchise. Apple is expanding the collection of Remix Sessions available in its GarageBand app for iOS and iPadOS. The company announced via a press release that two new Remix Sessions are launching today from Katy Perry and K-pop supergroup SEVENTEEN. Apple has killed some Beats products recently, such as the Beats Pill+ and the Beats Solo Pro. Now, the company appears to have revived its speaker for another collaboration with Devin Booker and Book Projects with a customized Beats Pill+ inspired by the Sonoran Desert. Apple TV+ is expanding its catalog with three new TV shows for kids and families launching this fall with Wolfboy and Everything Factory, Get Rolling With Otis, and Puppy Place. According to Variety, Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s animated series Wolfboy and Everything Factory will be the first premiering on Apple TV+ on September 24, followed by Get Rolling With Otis on October 8, and Puppy Place on October 15. It was reported last week that Apple was dropping a copyright lawsuit against Corellium, a company that sells virtual iOS devices. However, the case seems to have had a turnaround as Apple on Tuesday filed a notice of appeal in this case. The news comes from Reuters, which claims that the notice of appeal was filed today with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
