Director Ava DuVernay begins working on DC’s upcoming New Gods movie by picking up a copy of New Gods #1. Following her first big-budget in Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time, the 45-year-old continues building up her portfolio with another big-budget film, this time with Warner Bros. and DC Films’ adaptation of the Jack Kirby brainchild from the ’70s. An Apple Indonesia agreement could force the company to hand over to the government the personal data of iCloud users. Aquaman producer Peter Safran has confirmed that Julie Andrews plays a small (but important) role in the film.
