Apple on Monday confirmed that it will soon open a new retail store in the huge American Dream shopping mall and entertainment complex in New Jersey. The store is expected to have the same design as the latest Apple Retail Stores and will open to the public later this week, starting December 3. Though 2013’s Man of Steel is the first entry into the DCEU, it wasn’t until last year’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice that DC and Warner Bros.’s shared universe got going in earnest. That was quickly followed by Suicide Squad, and later this year Wonder Woman and Justice League will continue to flesh out DC’s cinematic world. From there, the only film that seems to be holding to its release date is 2018’s Aquaman....

While a different design may not have helped the movie’s big bad stand out any further from the crowd, there is no denying that the Malekith that Disney settled on was certainly different from his comic book counterpart....
Apple TV+ launched in 2019 with exclusive shows and movies – and although most of them come from the US and Canada, there are already some productions from other places and in languages other than English. This time, it seems that Apple is now in talks to produce its first original content made in Brazil. Kevin Feige has suggested that the name of the currently untitled Avengers 4 isn’t as big a deal as the secrecy suggests. When Marvel announced their Phase 3 slate in 2014, it was set to culminate with the two-part Avengers: Infinity War event, with Part 1 in 2018 and Part 2 a year later in 2019. There have been several changes to the line-up since then (the addition of Spider-Man: Homecoming after the deal with Sony and removal of Inhumans) but by far the most mysterious was the removal of the duology nomenclature: Avengers 3 alone is now Infinity War, with the fourth currently untitled....

One side-effect to putting gigantic amounts of your movie into its own marketing a full year before it’s released: That leaves plenty of material for parody-artists to work with when taking you down a peg (unless, of course, you’re Deadpool and you’ve already done all the parodies yourself.) Case in point: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has released so much pre-release advertising that it might be entirely possible to reconstruct something close to an entire movie from all the component parts - or to create some dramatically re-imagined alternate versions of the film’s now well-established central premise....

Globular astromech droid BB-8 will cross paths with his First Order counterpart BB-9E during a scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. BB-8, of course, was one of the breakout stars in The Force Awakens, and now his model of robot is set to be an integral part of the sequel trilogy. In addition to rusty-looking BB units the Resistance uses, the villains of the story will have their own cute droid at their disposal....

The infamous “Murder House” in the first season of FX’s American Horror Story is at the center of a lawsuit between its current and previous owners. The subject of the first season of creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s American Horror Story in 2011, the Victorian-style mansion set the creepy tone for the series, as an unsuspecting family (Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Taissa Farmiga) who moved into the Los Angeles abode soon found out that the “murder house,” as it was deemed, was haunted by malevolent ghosts from the past....
