Arrow actor Stephen Amell sympathizes with Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye being left out of the latest Avengers: Infinity War poster. Disney has kicked their marketing campaign for the upcoming MCU installment into high-gear, with the release of the final Avengers 3 trailer and pre-sale tickets. Marvel Studios’ most ambitious undertaking yet, the film will gather (almost) all superheroes existing in the franchise - supposedly, including Clint Barton. However, after two trailers, an ensemble poster, and a handful of licensed artwork, Hawkeye has yet to be revealed in any of the marketing for Infinity War, save for an Avengers 3 toy bow and arrow set....

If Marvel fans are feeling uneasy about Avengers 4 not having an official title yet, that’s apparently by design. There was a point in time when the film was supposed to be the final chapter of an Infinity War two-parter, but those plans later changed. Though the third and fourth Avengers movies filmed back-to-back (and will definitely have connections), it seems as if Infinity War and its unnamed sequel will operate more as self-contained entities that tell their own stories, rather than be a more “traditional” two part narrative a la Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows....

Avengers: Endgame might have set up the villain for Marvel’s Phase 4, with its time-travel plot paving the way for Kang the Conqueror to be the antagonist of Avengers 5. With Thanos and the Infinity Stones over with, the MCU is in need of a new Big Bad for whatever form the next Avengers movie takes, and Kang would fit the bill nicely. There’s been a lot of talk about how Marvel will replace Thanos, who proved a major hit as a villain, especially in Avengers: Infinity War, with lots of talk about characters such as Galactus, Annihilus, or even Norman Osborn....

Marvel Studios is currently doing a massive photoshoot for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Avengers cast members are giving everyone a behind-the-scenes look. The MCU is rapidly approaching its ten year anniversary; while Marvel Studios has been around a little bit longer, next May as they release Avengers: Infinity War it will be ten years since they officially started the entire thing with Iron Man. Apple has announced to employees that it is revising its COVID-19 protocols for corporate staff and retail staff members. Apple is rolling out a new firmware update for its Studio Display today. Apple TV+ head of film marketing strategy JP Richards has resigned. Sources tell Variety that Richards notified his team of his departure this morning. The exec joined Apple in January 2021 after leaving his role as co-president in worldwide marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures. He reported to Apple’s head of video marketing Chris Van Amburg and is said to be exploring multiple new opportunities at the moment. No word on what those opportunities are....

While the Apple Watch Series 7 launch date was a mystery during the “California Streaming” keynote, Apple is not wasting anymore time. After pre-orders started on Friday, some customers have already received the notification that the product is preparing to ship.
