Avengers: Infinity War will have no trouble topping Captain America: Civil War’s airport fight, according to Anthony Mackie who recently teased an action sequence much grander in scale. Marvel Studios is pushing the boundaries of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Infinity War. In the latest effort to wow audiences, the studio has brought together nearly every single hero in the MCU to try and defeat Thanos. Based on the footage description for the Infinity War teaser shown at D23 yesterday, it sounds as though Marvel will indeed deliver when it comes to fan expectations....

The iPhone maker has escaped the Chinese government crackdown on other tech companies in the country, thanks to a symbiotic relationship between the two … A Financial Times analysis indicates that Apple now makes more profit than local tech giants Alibaba and Tencent combined....

Following the release of iOS 15.2 to all users last week, Apple today stopped signing iOS 15.1.1 for iPhone 13 models and iOS 15.1 for older iPhone models. This means that users who updated their devices to iOS 15.2 can no longer downgrade to iOS 15.1.1 or iOS 15.1. Back in November, Apple had stopped signing iOS 15.1 for iPhone 13 models as those devices received the iOS 15.1.1 update to fix a specific bug affecting this year’s iPhones....

Development on the website has been excruciatingly slow. For instance, the Up Next watchlist only came to the web-app a few months ago. Today, it gains another basic feature that people naturally expect from a streaming app: the ability to search for shows by name. Until today, there was no search functionality on tv.apple.com. The only way to find a particular show (that wasn’t in your Up Next list) was to scroll through the carousels on the homepage, often having to take several guesses at which category Apple had put the show in, and then select the title....

Aquaman’s new promo spot reveals Vulko (Willem Dafoe) sending Arthur (Jason Momoa) and Mera (Amber Heard) to search for King Atlan’s missing Trident of Neptune. Directed by James Wan, the upcoming Warner Bros. and DC project establishes the origin story of the titular character. Set after the events of Justice League, it will tackle Arthur’s own journey in becoming the leader of Atlantis. While Aquaman will have a chunk of its story set underwater as Arthur battles Orm/Ocean Master to become the rightful king of the hidden civilization, a portion of the film will take place in the surface world as Wan establishes the hero’s unique origin being the son of both sea and land....

In what is sure to be some of the final days of production, the Australian set of Aquaman is not done giving fans behind-the-scenes looks at the first post-Justice League movie in Warner Bros.’ DC movie universe. In almost every instance of such a leak, the photos and videos have primarily been focused on the film’s two stars and future rulers of Atlantis....

The CW’s Archie Comics television series Riverdale made its debut last night, and if it isn’t on The CW’s mind already, it likely won’t be long before the network starts doubling down and putting more chips in the game when it comes to the Archie Comics source material. After all, Archie Andrews isn’t the only teenager that Archie Comics has iconized in it’s time. There is a gold mine of untapped, high school-set, adolescent magic to bring to the small screen, and based on what showrunner Greg Berlanti has already achieved with the Arrowverse - which now spans four different shows - it certainly wouldn’t be surprising to see The CW take a similar approach with Archie....

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has now entered week three of its box office (at the time of writing this), even as the larger film-loving community continues arguing about the film itself - not to mention, what its box office means, in terms of not only the general reception for Batman V Superman, but Warner Bros. Pictures’ own plans for future DC Extended Universe movies too. The Zack Snyder-directed superhero film received a mixed-to-negative critical reception (including some unusually vituperative reviews from critics), even before Batman V Superman enjoyed a dynamite domestic box office debut of $166 million… even as its numbers dropped from Friday to Sunday of its opening weekend....

Last Updated: May 23 DICE’s long-running first-person shooter franchise returns this year with Battlefield V. The acclaimed video game developer saw enormous success with the release of Battlefield 1 in 2016. It quickly outsold both 2013’s Battlefield 4 and 2015’s Battlefield Hardline. And by taking place during WWI, the studio was able to circumvent the fatigue players were experiencing with modern-day shooters. Now, DICE is looking to build off all that success with the release of Battlefield 5 or Battlefield V, as was officially revealed not too long ago....

Excitement continues to build for Disney’s latest live-action reimagining, Beauty and the Beast, as more teaser clips and behind-the-scenes footage is released for the film. Earlier this week, we saw a new clip from Gaston’s (Luke Evans) musical number, as well as two new TV spots that aired the week before. The aggressive marketing campaign is certainly working, too, as the Beauty and the Beast trailers have broken records for the number of views achieved, and there is absolutely no doubt that when it hits our screens in a few weeks, it will be a box office smash....

As part of a series of Sunday marathons highlighting fan-favorite characters in The Walking Dead, AMC is set to air ten episodes back-to-back that show the best of housewife-turned-zombie-killer Carol Peletier. Played by Melissa McBride, Carol started out as a mother who lived in fear of her violent and ill-tempered husband, but by the end of season 2 both her husband and her daughter, Sophia had been killed off. The search for Sophia marked the start of the close relationship between Carol and fellow survivor Daryl Dixon, who continued to look for Sophia on his own while the other characters focused on different priorities....

With a long career that mostly consists of lead roles, Anthony Hopkins can be considered one of the most successful actors of all time. His movie and TV credits began in the 1960s and since then, he has gone on to appear in 110 films and over 30 TV shows, becoming knighted by the Queen of England in 1987 for his work in the arts. Hopkins has tried his hand in a number of genres throughout his career but his most notable roles have been the ones where he plays a creepy and scary character....

Anthony Mackie originally signed up to a 10-picture deal with Marvel Studios. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a tremendous success, but it simply wouldn’t be possible without multi-picture deals. It requires actors to reprise their roles across multiple films, with character arcs that run over the course of years. Sooner or later, every contract comes to an end. Marvel recruited many of the OG Avengers under six-film contracts, which became increasingly problematic as the MCU grew....

Apple is once again pausing its return to in-person plans due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. The company had originally said that employees would be required to work in-person three days per week starting next week on May 23, but it is now delaying that requirement. Notably, the company has also not set a new date for when the requirement will go into effect. Employees are still expected to work two days per week in person though....
