Now that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has all but concluded its box office run, attention has turned to the impending home media release. Warner Bros. will make the film available on Digital HD starting June 28, before the physical Blu-ray hits retailers on July 19. The biggest selling point for it is the existence of the infamous R-rated “Ultimate Edition,” which adds roughly 30 minutes to the run time and ideally provides clarity on some of the film’s more muddled elements and subplots....

Though the film got off to a good start at the box office, the critical slamming and mixed word-of-mouth spelled a rough second weekend for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. A Friday-to-Friday comparison showed a drop of over 80 percent in the box office, and it looks like the final figures for the full weekend will see a somewhat similar drop. While the DCEU’s sophomore effort may not have been what everyone wanted, it did have some striking visuals....

Aquaman director James Wan has revealed a crucial moment from Arthur Curry’s past that wound up cut from the film. Aquaman was essentially a traditional superhero origin story, exploring just what makes Aquaman a true hero. Marvel Studios marked the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2018 with three new releases: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
