Earlier this week, a group of Apple employees announced that they were organizing under the hashtag #AppleToo to collect stories from workers at all levels of the company in regards to workplace issues. Now, #AppleToo organizers say they have already collected almost 500 stories of such issues, and they plan to go public starting on Monday. The Gotham showrunner is moving from a Batman prequel to one about his butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Although Fox cancelled a large swath of its series in the lead-up to the 2018-2019 TV season, Gotham survived. Gotham season 5 will be the fifth and final year for the series. The story of Gotham City before Batman (and how Bruce Wayne finally decided to put on the cape and cowl) will conclude, but series boss, Bruno Heller, isn’t ready to say goodbye to the universe....

Apple is re-releasing its Oscar award-wining film CODA in over 600 theaters across the U.S. On April 1 viewers can watch the film with open captions that are fully accessible to the Deaf and hard of hearing. The film is the first movie by a streaming service to win best picture at the Academy Awards. Director Sian Heder won for best adapted screenplay and Troy Kotsur won best supporting actor....

Apple has released the third beta of macOS Monterey to developers today. The release comes after beta 2 fixed a wide range of bugs and included new screensavers, wallpapers, and some other minor tweaks. We’ll be on the lookout to see if the anticipated Universal Control feature is live in the third beta. Apple continues to highlight the iPhone 13’s camera improvements, and this time the company has shared a fun video called “A Dozen Eggs” that shows the iPhone 13 Pro’s camera in action. Of course, as the name suggests, the video is all about eggs. The 1-minute clip shows different scenes shot with an iPhone 13 Pro, and each one features… eggs. Parts of the video were edited with stop motion technique, while there are also scenes shot with macro mode....

Update: Apple has now filed a second lawsuit, this one revealing that Masimo was given access to confidential information and source code. It accuses the company of infringing five Apple patents. More details at the bottom of the piece. A lawsuit filed by Apple yesterday accuses medical tech company Masimo of creating an Apple Watch clone, in the form of the W1 Advanced Health Tracking Watch.
