Apple recently introduced the 10th-generation iPad with a new design and also a new higher price, which makes the product less appealing for schools and students. It seems the company knows that it fails to reach these consumers — Apple once considered releasing a plastic iPad with a keyboard to compete with Chromebooks. It never happened, but maybe it should have. Apple announced a few weeks ago that it was moving the Grove Apple Store in Los Angeles to a new location. Now, it’s finally opened to the public. Apple’s The Grove retail in Los Angeles is one of the most important stores for the company. After two decades of history, Apple decided to change its location so it would be able to welcome even more customers. The latest batch of news for the MCU states Avengers 4 will undergo reshoots this summer, while Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 will wrap filming at the end of the year. For the first time in awhile, the MCU only has a limited number of movies on the books. Though dates are locked in for 2020-2022 Marvel movies, only five have been confirmed now that Avengers: Infinity War is out. Ant-Man & the Wasp is well into its promotional cycle ahead of its release next month, but 2019 and beyond is still relatively mysterious in terms of plot specifics....

Will Smith has shared the first official look at Bad Boys 3 - officially titled Bad Boys for Life. Smith and Martin Lawrence team up once again as narcotics officers in Miami for the first time since 2003’s Bad Boys II. In the the Bad Boys franchise, Smith and Lawrence star as Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, respectively. In the first film, the two are forced to singlehandedly investigate a heist they believe is an inside job; in the sequel, they’re tasked with stopping a Cuban drug lord who is fueling an MDMA epidemic, while Mike conceals the fact that he’s dating Marcus’ sister - an undercover DEA agent named Syd (Gabrielle Union)....

Warning: SPOILERS for Batman #75 The worlds of Batman and Brooklyn Nine-Nine may not seem to overlap, but believe it or not, one clever tribute in the comics suggests the comedy series may actually take place inside of DC’s Universe. At least… it used to. As some fans will be quick to point out, there is shared DNA between the two fictional stories due simply to Gotham City being a stand-in for New York....

Popular code and text editor BBEdit was updated on Tuesday with multiple new features. Version 14.1 of the macOS app brings new Shortcuts actions and adds support for multiple Notebooks. The app’s Notes system has been improved to support multiple Notebooks. In previous versions of the app, notes were stored in a single Notebook, but now BBEdit users can separate their notes into different Notebooks, which is useful for those working on multiple projects....

Tim Burton’s 2010 live-action reimagining of Alice in Wonderland received mixed reviews upon release; some praised its visual style and special effects (also known as its “muchness”), while others criticized its incoherent narrative and overuse of CGI. Regardless of any of the negativities though, cinema-going audiences were apparently keen to step into Underland, as the film grossed an incredible $1 billion worldwide at the box office, meaning that a sequel was inevitably on the Queen of Hearts’ cards....

Two new posters for director Ridley Scott’s upcoming film All the Money in the World swap out Kevin Spacey’s name for Christopher Plummer’s. It’s crunch time for the upcoming true-life crime drama, which chronicles the harrowing events surrounding the kidnapping of J. Paul Getty’s grandson, 16-year-old J. Paul Getty III, in 1973, and the elder Getty’s shocking response to his grandson’s captors. While All the Money in the World was previously completed with an awards season run in place, plans for the film changed drastically after sexual misconduct allegations surfaced against Spacey....

In an update to a support document today, Apple has clarified which of its devices feature support for Spatial Audio playback in Apple Music. While Apple had once said that older devices such as the iPhone XR and iPad Air 3 supported Spatial Audio in Apple Music, that appears to not be the case after all. First spotted by Holger Eilhard on Twitter, Apple made the change to the support document today to coincide with an Apple Music for Android update....

Update: Boone has stated that there was no connection between the video and her contract not being renewed. She said that she worked the entirety of her contract period, and “remain[s] thankful for my career opportunities and growth from working at Apple, and how that helped pave the way for the wonderful job I have today.“ An Apple contractor reportedly found her contract “unexpectedly” not renewed after a day-in-the-life TikTok video went viral....

In addition to launching its annual Holiday Gift Guide today, Apple has also officially started offering its extended return window for holiday shopping. This means that products received between November 4, 2022 and December 25, 2022 can be returned through January 8, 2023. On its Returns and Refunds webpage, Apple explains the new holiday return policy. Note that items purchased with carrier financing are not eligible for this extended policy and still fall into the standard 14-day return rule....

Apple has redesigned the human interface guidelines page on their developer website, making it easier to find the right templates and fonts you want to work with.
