Apple is set to reboot 1980s anthology series Amazing Stories, with Steven Spielberg and Bryan Fuller both on-board. Arguably the golden era for the genre, the 80s played host to lots of well-remembered anthology programming, including Tales from the Darkside, The Ray Bradbury Theater, and CBS’ first attempt at rebooting The Twilight Zone. One of the most critically acclaimed anthology series to come out of the decade was Amazing Stories, created by Spielberg....

Apple last month released iOS 16.2 beta, and the update brings the Freeform app, improvements to the Home app, and a feature called “Rapid Security Response” that will provide quick security patches to iOS without the need to install an entire new version of the operating system. Now, the company is once again testing the feature with a new Security Response update that has just been released to beta users....

Three days after releasing the RC version of iOS 15.6, which was technically the version that would be available to all users soon, Apple is now seeding a second Release Candidate version of iOS 15.6. Here’s what’s new with this update. Today’s build is 19G71. The previous one was 19G69. It’s unclear what’s changed between both versions, although Apple had probably found a critical bug that needed to be corrected before releasing the public version to all users in the near future....

Avatar: The Last Airbender is responsible for changing the way stories are told in children’s television. It was one of the few serialized shows aimed for the age 7-10 demographic and helped usher in an age of Western Anime. No episode of Avatar is irredeemable or unenjoyable, but rather kind of pointless filler. That makes sense, given that every season has around 26 episodes, it’s a necessary evil. And even then, filler episodes either help develop the characters or end up dropping crucial plot points....

James Cameron reveals his long-gestating Avatar sequels are finally forging ahead into the production stage, following years of development. The original film became the highest-grossing movie of all-time back in 2009, raking in $2.7 billion worldwide. Followups were definitely expected after that kind of record-shattering success, but the ever-patient Cameron never rushed into anything, taking his time as he put together four more chapters of his saga. Finally, he’s ready to return to the world of Pandora, and Fox has scheduled the sequels for release in 2020, 2021, 2024, and 2025....

Sideshow Collectibles has provided fans with the best look yet at Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow costume and weapons in Avengers: Infinity War. The official distributor of Hot Toys recently revealed a new figure for the Avenger, who has her own solo movie in the works at the moment. As fans would expect, Johansson’s Black Widow has been prominently featured in Infinity War’s marketing thus far, but not too much is known about her new costume....

The NBC Bad Boys TV spinoff has finally earned itself a title, as Gabrielle Union gets closer to bringing her Bad Boys II character to the small screen. The action-drama pilot has been filming for some time, and is intended to lead towards an order for a full series. According to Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, another film in the main Transformers timeline will be coming soon. While the Transformers toy line and cartoon started in the 1980s, the first live-action version of the robotic aliens was created in 2007. The most recent film in the series, Bumblebee, stars Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena, with Dylan O’Brien providing the voice of Bumblebee.
