Apple has further bolstered its creative talent for future Apple TV+ content with its latest deal. Misha Green, best known for creating Lovecraft Country and writing for Heroes and Sons of Anarchy has inked a multi-year agreement with Apple. Reported by Variety, the deal with Apple TV+ will see Green “create and develop television projects” for the streaming service. Variety notes Green’s deal will see her team back up with Apple’s worldwide video heads Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht who were previously at Sony Pictures....

New concept art for Justice League has been unveiled at the DC Comics Art Exhibition. Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) are all set to join forces for the first time in just a couple of months to stop the villainous alien Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons. Everything about this movie suggests it will be huge in every way, and Infinity War has yet to disappoint in that regard....

The animated adaptation of Batman: Hush has reportedly finally found its voice cast, and it’s filled to the brim with DC animation veterans. The reveal comes nearly six months after the adaptation of the popular Batman comic was announced last summer by DC Entertainment. Batman: Hush will be based on the popular 2002 comic of the same name which saw the Caped Crusader face off against the mysterious Hush, who manipulated the superhero’s vast villainous foes from a distance in an attempt to destroy Batman once and for all....

Several movie franchises are coming to an end (sorta) in 2019. Nothing ever really ends in Hollywood, of course, and studios have become increasingly reliant on reboots of established IPs and brands in recent years especially. With a trailer on the way tomorrow, a new poster for Ant-Man and the Wasp has been released, and it gives us our first unmasked look at Hannah John-Kamen’s villain character - Ghost. We saw very little of Ghost in the previous trailer - just a brief close-up of her masked face, and a shot of her hand as she tried out her super-suit’s abilities (more on them later), so this is the first time we’ve actually seen her face....

Apple has been largely affected by global chip shortages just like several other companies, and this has resulted in products like the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7 having really low supplies around the world. Now Apple is reportedly cutting iPad production to reallocate components to the iPhone. Based on sources familiar with the matter, Nikkei Asia claims that Apple “has cut back sharply” on iPad production to ensure that there will be enough components for iPhone 13 production....

Not long after the release of iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 to the public, Apple is kickstarting the beta train yet again. There’s another big show coming to Apple TV+. The psychological thriller Surface just got its first trailer and more information about this eight-episode series coming later next month for Apple TV+ subscribers. Created by Veronica West, Surface is set in high-end San Francisco and stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw from The Morning Show – she’s also the executive producer of the series – and plays Sophie, a woman who has suffered a traumatic head injury that has left her with extreme memory loss, believed to be a result of a suicide attempt....

Armie Hammer wanted his Justice League: Mortal version of Batman to be seriously disturbed. Justice League: Mortal ranks alongside Batman Unchained and Tim Burton’s Superman Lives as one of the most intriguing, unmade superhero projects of all time. Mortal would have been directed by George Miller with a cast that included Hammer as Batman, Common as Green Lantern and Adam Brody as The Flash. Justice League: Mortal got pretty far into pre-production back in 2008 before Warner Bros....

Avengers: Infinity War is now Marvel Studios’ biggest movie ever in China. Since the very beginning of its theatrical run, Infinity War wasted no time breaking all sorts of records. One of the biggest achievements was scoring the top-grossing opening weekend ever domestically. In the same weekend, the film also nabbed the biggest opening worldwide. The latter is particularly impressive since it did so without first debuting in China. Just as it was everywhere else, the anticipation for Infinity War was huge in the Middle Kingdom....

Matt Reeves reportedly wants the star of The Batman to be 15-20 years younger than Ben Affleck. The biggest story for the last year and a half when it comes to the DC movie universe has been the future of Batman and Affleck. He stepped down as writer and director on the solo film last year, but welcomed Reeves onto the project as its new director. However, there’s been constant rumors about what The Batman will actually contain and, more importantly, who will star....
