Apple is dramatically improving the benefits it offers both part-time and full-time retail employees in the United States. According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple is implementing more generous policies for sick time and vacation time, while also offering parental leave for part-time employees for the first time. Apple is out with a new ad promoting the integration between iPhone and Apple Watch. In a video posted to YouTube today, Apple plays on the “needle in a haystack” idea, with a farmer using the ping feature on his Apple Watch to find an iPhone that’s lost in a haystack. “An iPhone that’s lost is easily found. Relax, it’s iPhone + Apple Watch,” Apple touts in the video’s description. The video is set to the song “Searching (For Someone Like You)” by Kitty Wells....

After a summer full of beta testing, Apple today officially announced that it will release iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 to the public on Monday, September 20. A week after releasing iOS 14.7.1 to the public, Apple today stopped signing iOS 14.7. That means users who have updated their devices or iOS 14.7.1 or even iOS 15 beta can no longer downgrade to iOS 14.7. iOS 14.7.1 was released on July 26 with a fix for a bug that prevented users from unlocking an Apple Watch using Touch ID on the iPhone. The update also fixes a security vulnerability that had been exploited by hackers....

Following the release of iOS 16 beta 3 for developers earlier today, Apple has now updated the beta firmware for the AirPods, which is also available to developers. Battlefleet Gothic has become a strange choice for a Warhammer 40,000 video game adaptation. A spin-off of the beloved Games Workshop property, Battlefleet Gothic is effectively no longer supported by Games Workshop itself, but its version of that grim, dark future where there is only war has received yet another solid video game. Indeed, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is perhaps more impressive than some of the recent video games based on the source material of its big brother....
