Filed with the SEC, the document confirms that Apple will hold its annual meeting of shareholders on March 4, 2022. The meeting, which is usually held at Steve Jobs Theater, will take place completely virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo confirm their Avengers 4 was not impacted by Marvel Studios’ decision to indefinitely delay Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Today, Apple announced new online courses and certifications for Apple device support, deployment, and management to prepare workers for in-demand careers. According to a press release shared by the company this morning, demand for skilled support and technical staff within the enterprise is growing, with jobs in computer and information systems in particular projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations from 2020 to 2030. Apple has quietly stopped selling its Beddit Sleep Monitor in the United States and other countries, nearly five years after it first announced its acquisition of the Beddit sleep tracking company. Since that acquisition, Apple launched a new Beddit Sleep Monitor 3.5 towards the end of 2018, making a handful of minor changes to the product. Apple TV+ today received 52 nominations for its content at the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards. The recognition was led by hit comedy Ted Lasso and this year’s breakout sci-fi workplace drama Severance.
