The Avengers: Infinity War poster from San Diego Comic-Con 2017 actually contains a number of spoilers for the Marvel Studios film. Although it has been two weeks since the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel fans still spend countless hours wracking their brains over what happened in that movie, as well as creating theories about what they knew might happen before it premiered in theaters. When fans go back and look at trailers for Infinity War, they will now pick up on some tiny details, things that would prove to later mean something more in the greater picture of that film’s story which had Thanos actually achieving his goals....

The Alliance of Digital India Foundation (ADIF) details monopolistic practices from Apple and Google app stores in a new study. The report, Towards Regulating App Stores, from ADIF and The Quantum Hub, mentions global regulatory actions targeting both tech giants control over the mobile app ecosystem. According to the study, both Apple and Google charge significant fees for app store services. Additionally, Google is soon prohibiting developers from taking any outside method of payments from customers, hence earning a commission....

Over the last couple of years, we’ve heard different estimates of when Apple Car might finally make it to market which have ranged from 2024 to 2028. Now the latest report predicts a debut in 2026 with a custom Apple Silicon chip, no self-driving, and a price tag under $100,000. There have been many twists and turns over the last seven years of Apple Car news and rumors. Back in 2017 after several years of work, it appeared Apple had given up on producing a physical vehicle and was ready to focus on autonomous vehicle software....

Apple has announced a new documentary called “The Sound of 007” focused on the “remarkable history of six decades of James Bond music.” The documentary is slated to be released in October 2022 to mark 60 years of James Bond. “The Sound of 007” will be exclusive to Apple TV+ and comes on the heels of their success in the documentary category. The documentary is being produced by MGM, Eon Productions, and Ventureland according to Deadline....

ChargerLAB shared some images of the new charger on Twitter, but the sources behind them are unknown. Unlike Apple’s current 20W USB-C Power Adapter, images show that the new 35W charger will have “foldable prongs.” The USB-C ports are positioned side-by-side on the bottom of the charger, and not on top of each other on the back of the adapter. Also based on the images, another difference between the new power adapter and the current ones is a circular cutout on the sides so that users can hold it there to remove the charger from a power outlet....

The United States Supreme Court has rejected Apple’s bid for an appeal as part of its legal battle against Qualcomm. Apple settled its legal battle with Qualcomm in 2019, but its challenge of two patents was allowed to continue. Ultimately, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board ruled in favor Qualcomm. Apple vs Qualcomm battle finally over (for now) Apple and Qualcomm settled their multi-billion lawsuit in 2019, on day one of the trial kicking off....

The combination of additional footage and the post-Fourth of July weekend has brought Avengers: Endgame within striking distance of Avatar’s all-time worldwide box office record. Bringing in nearly $9 million additional to Disney’s coffers over the June 28-July 4 timeframe, along with an estimated $3.1 million from July 5-7, sets the current worldwide box office total to $2.776 billion. The current first place record holder, James Cameron’s Avatar, sits at $2....

After years of updates, Batman is returning to his classic costume in the pages of DC Comics. And even better - he’s doing it for the best possible reason. The reboot of DC’s universe back in 2011 saw the main Batsuit changed to a streamlined, black and grey body armor one step closer to the movies. Batman: Rebirth returned a splash of yellow to the mix, but Bruce Wayne is finally going back to the Batsuit considered by many as the best one he ever wore....

Battlefield V aims to give players everything they want, and while much of developer DICE’s promise of what this WWII themed shooter will be and will offer isn’t coming until later, what’s available right now at launch is excellent. Perhaps an odd thing on paper to see Battlefield V set in the past, especially after Call of Duty: WWII did similar recently and since the last entry was set in World War I, the setting plays to the strengths and origins of the franchise....

Disney has had a run of massively successful live-action adaptations of their classic films, beginning with Alice in Wonderland, and continuing with Maleficent, Cinderella, and The Jungle Book. Even a pair of box office misfires this year (Alice Through the Looking Glass, Pete’s Dragon) hasn’t seemed to put a damper on the studio’s enthusiasm for refreshing their most viable classics. There are already a dozen more greenlit remakes on the horizon, but the next to the box office will be Beauty and the Beast, which received its first full trailer this week....
