The Marvel Cinematic Universe is known for littering its movies with nifty Easter Eggs, and yet another one has been found from James Gunn’s original Guardians of the Galaxy, some four years after it first hit theaters. Gunn wrote and directed the first two Guardians movies - with a third on the way - and his trips to the MCU cosmos have already earned him a legion of fans. Gunn was also the first to say that not every little Easter Egg that he hid in the first Guardians movie has been found, but one lucky fan just cracked another one wide open....

Apple has published a new document today that offers additional detail on its recently announced child safety features. Earlier this week, a new third-party Instagram app dubbed “OG App” launched on the App Store. This app offered an ad-free Instagram experience, among other improvements. Just a day after its launch, however, Apple removed OG App from the App Store, and we now have more details on the reasoning behind this removal. Apple said that it discovered OG App was using Instagram’s service in an unauthorized manner, which is a violation of App Store Review Guidelines as well as Instagram’s terms of use....

Apple’s mixed-reality headset has been rumored for years, and it could finally see the light of day sometime in 2023. Update: A likely explanation for this comment has now emerged. Apple is among a handful of companies that have filed a new amicus brief in support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program – or DACA. The amicus brief was filed in an appellate case before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, in which some state attorneys general are challenging the legality of the program. Notably, this is the second amicus brief filed by Apple in support of DACA. For those unfamiliar, DACA is a program introduced during President Obama’s administration that gives children who were brought into the United States illegally the opportunity to remain if they’re registered and paying their taxes....

Apple last month suspended its sales in Turkey due to the economic crisis that led the local currency to crash with high inflation.
