Apple on Thursday released the first beta of macOS Monterey 12.2 just a few days after the release of macOS 12.1 to all users. While the company didn’t provide any release notes for today’s update, it seems that Apple is finally rebuilding the Apple Music app as a full native macOS app. Back in 2019, when Apple introduced macOS Catalina, the well-known iTunes was replaced by the Music app to better reflect the company’s strategy on iOS and tvOS....

According to a recent report, gaming company Electronic Arts (also known as EA) has been looking for a potential buyer – and one of them is none other than Apple. However, while Apple would certainly benefit from buying EA, this doesn’t seem likely to happen. Although neither EA nor Apple has commented on a possible deal, rumors suggest that EA wants to sell its operations or at least merge with another company....

It might still be a long 12-month wait before we are once again reunited with Arthur Curry following the events of Justice League, but Jason Momoa is already giving us hints as to what we expect from his character once his standalone film kicks off. After his official introduction in Warner Bros.’ official superhero team-up film as one of DC Films’ newest characters (alongside Ezra Miller’s The Flash and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg), the soon-to-be King of Atlantis will dive into his solo movie, taking us with him as he journeys his way to claiming his rightful place....

The Arrowverse 2018 crossover event, Elseworlds, starts this weekend, and there are quite a few characters that are already dead. In the Elseworlds teaser trailer first shown at the end of Supergirl’s midseason finale, several well-known characters can be spotted lying dead on the ground. This year, Arrowverse’s crossover event consists of The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl, but excludes Legends of Tomorrow. Elseworlds will bring back Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, and serve as the Arrowverse debuts for Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane and Ruby Rose as Batwoman....

Earlier today, a report suggested that Apple has been “secretly” buying ads for third-party applications in an effort to increase its commission earnings. Apple is now defending itself against some of those allegations, saying that it is a standard business practice in the industry… Today’s report came from Forbes. The report said that Apple has been running advertisements for third-party applications across social media and other platforms to drive in-app purchases....
