Following hilarious demands from Marvel fans that they rescue Tony Stark from his Avengers: Endgame plight, NASA issues an official response. After months of hype fueled by the fans themselves, this past Friday finally saw the debut of the first trailer for Marvel Studios’ ultimate blockbuster, Avengers: Endgame. With the first footage from the film now released, its official title revealed, and its release date moved forward, the marketing machine for the MCU entry formally known as Avengers 4 is likely soon to really get moving....

Epix is pushing forward their planned Alfred Pennyworth television series, with filming possibly beginning this fall. The series, titled Pennyworth, will serve as a prequel focusing entirely on the character of Alfred Pennyworth, giving an unprecedented look into the Batman character’s backstory and life before his career at Wayne Manor. Plans for the Pennyworth prequel series were revealed last month. Bruno Heller, executive producer and showrunner on Fox’s current Batman prequel series, Gotham, will be heading the Pennyworth series, which was given a straight-to-series order by Epix....

Amid ongoing speculation that Apple is nearing a deal (or has already inked a deal) for the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket, the NFL is also planning its own “NFL Plus” streaming service. A new report from Sports Business Journal now indicates that NFL Plus could ultimately be bundled with the Sunday Ticket package if sold to Apple. This week, Apple rolled out new ad placements in the App Store for the Today tab and at the bottom of product pages of other apps. App Store ads are always a controversial (and widely disliked) subject, but this latest expansion was particularly grating to the developer community. Apple fans in India have been waiting for an Apple retail store for quite a few years now. It was supposed to launch this year, but due to COVID-19, the company had to delay its plans. Now, Apple is finally starting to hire people. According to Apple’s head of recruiting in India in a LinkedIn post, the company is now hiring workers for its retail stores. With the launch of the third generation iPhone SE, Apple has made some changes to introduce a streamlined purchase process for AT&T and T-Mobile customers. Users will now be able to send their personal data to the carriers when they first turn on the device, rather than having to wait for approval when ordering the new iPhone. Currently, when you buy a carrier-tied iPhone at an Apple Store (whether online or retail), you need to provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number and your phone number....

While the MCU’s decade-long feat of interconnected cinematic architecture is nothing to sneeze at, there have been a number of technical missteps and continuity kerfuffles along the way....

Never-before-seen Avengers: Endgame concept art features young Thanos with the Eternals. Marvel Studios had been teasing the introduction of the Mad Titan as early as 2011’s Thor. Throughout the years since then, he appeared in cameos on a string of films, but it wasn’t until 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War that he officially debuted. Despite having a massive cast all vying for screen time, the narrative’s focal point was the villain to properly execute The Decimation that happened at the end of the movie....
